K-2 Basketball Academy
The CYBA K-2 Basketball Academy provides skill sessions for boys and girls in Kindergarten through 2nd grade. Over 100 kids have participated each year in this program, with numbers increasing each year. Academy sessions will focus on the basics of dribbling, shooting, and passing in a fun environment. Additionally, each child will receive a CYBA practice jersey.
Basketballs will be provided at each practice, but if you are looking to buy a basketball for your child to use outside of the CYBA K-2 Academy classes, a 27.5” or 28.5” basketball is typically the best fit.

Academy sessions will be held at the Central Cass Elementary (West) gym on Sundays.
- 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm – Kindergarten
- 2:00 pm to 2:45 pm - 1st grade
- 3:00 pm to 3:45 pm - 2nd grade
The second graders will have the opportunity to play at halftime during one of the girls/boys JV/Varsity basketball games.
- 2nd Grand Girls will be performing on February 3rd
- 2nd Grade Boys will be performing on Feburary 5th

Need-based scholarships and gear are available. Every year generous donors allow financial hurdles to be overcome for many of those looking to participate.
