The CYBA Winter Classic Travel Tournament will take place on January 25th - 26th, 2025.  We host a very well run tournament that is both competitive and fun - in close proximity to the FM metro area.  The tournament this year will include 1 division of no more than 8 teams per grade for both boys and girls.

It is our commitment to provide a competitive tournament for all teams.  We will be focusing on school and community teams this year.  We will not be accepting registrations from Academy teams, travel All-Star teams, or AAU teams.  We also will not be accepting more than 2 teams in a division from any single organization.

All teams will be waitlisted, regardless of tournament availability.  That does not mean the division is full!  You will be contacted soon to confirm tournament entry.

Tournament Information:

  • Divisions for 3rd - 6th grade boys and 3rd - 7th grade girls.
  • 5th - 7th grade will play Saturday.
  • 3rd & 4th grade will play on Sunday.
  • Each team is guaranteed 3 games.
  • Awards for 1st place as well as for 2nd, 3rd and 5th place.
  • Registration fee: $220/team.

An 80% refund will be issued in the case of a weather cancellation.

 

Game-Day Information

Tournament Staff

Look for the bright PINK CYBA shirts.  Anyone wearing one will be able to assist you with any questions or concerns during the tournament.

Championship Court

All true Championship games will be hosted on Central Cass #1 (CC1) and our very own voice of the Squirrels, Mark Robinson, will announce team line-ups, as well as live in-game announcing during all Championship games.  The music will be loud and we want to make this a fantastic atmosphere for players and their fans.

Admission Fee

We will charge the tournament admission, $7 for adults only.  You will receive a stamp or wristband that is good for the full day once admission is paid.

Basketballs

We will allow players/coaches to bring their own basketballs but please help us prevent these from being used in the hallways between games.  Talk to your players and make sure they stay in their bags between games.  Tournament Staff will be enforcing this policy in the hallways and we are asking for coach & parent assistance.

Stay Off Courts

Please remind your players to stay off the courts during other games.  We do not want the playing teams distracted during timeouts or halftime.  CYBA tournament staff and refs will enforce this policy but we ask that coaches help police their players as well.

  • Download this app for Apple and Android devices to stay informed on all tournament divisions.  This will feature final score updates after each game in every division.
